After more than 13 years in the film and television industry—watching countless films, reading innumerable scripts, and earning degrees in Theatre and Film Studies as well as Screenwriting—I have learned a great deal. Among other things, I have learned how to spot—and articulate—both obvious and subtle storytelling flaws. Through my academic background, my work as a writer and script consultant, and collaborations with various companies—including Constantin Film and Wild Bunch/Senator—I have honed my eye for material and story development. This applies to comedy, but especially to darker genre material and the specific nuances and demands associated with it.

My approach involves analyzing concepts and scripts with a clear perspective that keeps both the project’s vision and the target audience firmly in mind. I identify perceived strengths as well as potential weaknesses regarding tone and the coherence of the story, plot, and characters—and offer concrete suggestions for further development.
