Paula Redlefsen

Short Bio:

Driven by my passion for film, I studied acting for three years at HB Studio in New York City.

Afterward, I moved to Berlin, where I primarily performed in English-language productions, both on stage and in film. I worked on the sets of national and international television and film productions in various roles, including as a dialogue coach, casting director, and assistant director.

At the same time, I began shooting my own short films, honing my skills in the fundamentals of filmmaking, from screenplay development to editing.

Eventually, I realized that a film’s core quality must lie in the screenplay, so in 2008 I completed a one-year screenwriting program at ARS NOVA Berlin, followed by screenwriting development at the Masterschool Drehbuch, alongside film history seminars at the HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Since 2017, I have been a founding member of ScriptDOCK, where I work as a script coach, trainer, and dramaturgical consultant on countless screenwriting projects.

In doing so, I focus not only on the potential of an idea but also on the potential of the writer, and I draw on my wealth of experience in personal development to help others tap into their inner strength.
